Washington Boulevard closes at 6:30 AM Friday for the Pioneer Days Grande Parade route from 32nd Street to 20th Street.
Driving through downtown Ogden tomorrow morning? Here's what you need to know before you head out.
Pioneer Day is Friday, July 24, and road closures for the Ogden Pioneer Days Grande Parade begin at 6:30 AM. Washington Boulevard will be closed from 32nd Street to 20th Street until after the parade concludes.
The Horse & Hitch Parade begins at 9:00 AM, immediately followed by the Grande Parade. The Pioneer Days Rodeo Run also starts at 8:00 AM, so expect heavier traffic, road closures, and plenty of pedestrians throughout the morning.
Road Closure Timeline
🚧 6:30 AM
Washington Boulevard closes to traffic.
➡️ Until 7:30 AM
Vehicles may still cross east and west at 30th, 24th, and 20th Streets.
⛔ 7:30 AM until the parade ends
The entire parade route will be closed to all traffic.
✅ Around Noon
Washington Boulevard is expected to reopen.
If you're not attending, plan an alternate route. If you are, arrive early, bring plenty of water, find some shade, and enjoy one of Weber County's favorite Pioneer Day traditions.

🤠 Cowboy Night at the Rodeo Is Tonight. Walk-Up Seats Are Still Available.
Thursday's rodeo performance honors the American cowboy, with walk-up seats available at the stadium.
One final rodeo night before Pioneer Day.
Tonight's Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo celebrates the National Day of the American Cowboy, honoring the heritage, grit, and traditions that helped shape the American West. It's the second-to-last performance of this year's rodeo and, as always, concludes with the crowd-favorite drone show.
